Part 2

Day 2 in Orlando was spent at Islands of Adventure. We were exhausted having gone from 8 am to 11 pm the night before but still ready to go. After all, today was Harry Potter day...and boy was it GRAND!

aww I just love my Trevor!!

                                                                       Cutie Pies!!

We picked Voldemort's Wand...does that make us bad?

Oh Hogwarts, how awesome you are!!!! I know you can't tell from the pics, but this place was incredible. I felt like I was really there. My favorite ride of the whole trip was Harry Potter. The castle you walk through while you wait was phenomenal  They have pictures that talk, you see Harry, Ron, and Hermione holograms that blow snow on you...its just spectacular. If you like Harry Potter at all...you should go.

We had such a blast taking it slow and riding all the rides we wanted. What a grand day!! I had so much fun walking around and riding rides with my brothers. Made me love them even more! They are pretty awesome and I am so thankful I got to experiences this with them.

The day we left we stopped at the first "house" Garrett lived in. He really enjoyed it and I thought it was so cute. Oh and don't mind my finger in the corner...sorry GB.

Anyway, as you can see, it was a fantastic trip!!!

Spring Break PT. 1

I was fortunate to have this week off since the kids I watch are in FL for their spring break. It just so happens that the Bradhams were heading off to FL as well for a track meet for the boys. So we all decided to make a vacation out of it. It was awesome. We spent the first few days in Gainsville so the boys could run. After that, we slowly made our way towards Orlando.

Track Time! The boys ran great! Their school came in 3rd of 100...pretty awesome.

Giant Sully!

While the boys watched stayed at the race the four of us went to Jurassic Park 3-D. If you haven't gone yet....GO. You won't regret it. It was glorious.

Here we are in St. Augustine, a little out of the way but totally worth it. It was a whole lot cooler than I expected. For those who are not aware, St. Augustine is the oldest city in the U.S. Prettay, prettay, prettay, cool.

Before stopping in Orlando, we stopped in Melbourne to hit up the beach for a day. It was a great stop. We all under estimated the fierceness of the Orlando sun because most of us were burnt like crispy toast. (when I say most, I mean everyone but me because I was smart enough to get a base tan prior to going...suckers)

Me and the Mams, sadly, the only picture we took on the beach

Now on to the super duper awesome stuff! We got the HOOK UP by a wonderful distant relative. She was able to get us 6 hopper passes into Disney. Say What?!! Yes people, we hit up 3 parks for FREE! We started off at Hollywood Studios

Sadly not too many pictures at this park. In our defense we did only spend a few short hours there. After HS, we made our way to Animal Kingdom, it was a first for Gibley (Garrett) I REALLY love Animal Kingdom and I think GB did as well.

View of Everest...one of my FAVS!

And Me ON Everest!

We were really lucky on the Safari and got to see TONS of aminals..yesh on purpose. It was really cool.

The last two times I have been to Disney I have purchased Minnie Ears. My thoughtful husband sneakily bought me new ones and surprised me. He said it was tradition. Isn't he swell??
I let Mamisita borrow my other ones so we were twinners the rest of the day

This was right after we rode ripping rapids or something...anyway, GB and I got hit the worst. You can't really see in this picture but I was SOAKED. I mean it was like I stepped into the shower with my clothes on. refreshing but super annoying to walk about in lol.

After the stupendous time we had at Animal Kingdom, it was time for my favorite park. MAGIC KINGDOM!! This picture perfectly demonstrates my extreme happiness to be there.

MMMM I flippen LURVE the Turkey Legs there. It was a highlight for sure.

So did you know they have COMPLETELY redone the Fantasy area?! Well they did and its amazing. I mean I was freaking out. I honestly could have burst from shear joy. They have a Repunzel Tower as well as a small little area for her town with the floating lights and sun sign. Sadly, it was dark at that point and the pictures weren't coming out..but trust me. AWESOME. They also put in a WHOLE walking city area for Belle and even a small area for Arielle! I mean its like they set up this thing for me with ALL my favorite Princesses.

Here is me and the GB on the "Under the Sea" ride. You ride through movie scenes in a sea shell and it plays the songs from the movie. We were singing at the top of our lungs and dancing all the way through. It was magical.

And here the boys and I are being forced to sit through it's a small world. I detest that  miserable creepy ride.

Oh so magical. Oh how I love me some Disney!!!!

K time for a break. Part 2 coming soon.
