I was impressed. The beach was beautiful and the water was crystal clear. I loved the little town it was located in. I found this awesome store of home made jewelry made out of shells. I loved everything in there. The lady who made everything said he goes out and collects the shells then make the jewelry herself. GB was feeling sweet and generous and let me pick out a pair of ear rings. They are SO cute..best part is, they are one of a kind!
The beach was rocky but we were able to find a smooth area to lay out on. The only problem with the beach...child nudity. We felt like pedo's every time we opened our eyes. I was in shock. Little girls and boys playing in the rocks BUTT nakie! The WORST part was watching a little boy run to the ocean and hold his little taliewacker and make a pee pee. His sister then felt the need to join and I watched her squat right beside him. I was flabbergasted! Needless to say, yea I waited a while before stepping into the ocean. Its moment like that when I really miss America. Aside from the nakies, it was really nice. We strolled along the city and climbed the light house. A lovely lovely day...until we attempted to go home.
We then decided to head home at 4 so GB could get some work done. We headed to Genoa to catch the train to Milan. We had a 40 min wait originally, but then the train came 45 min late. By the time it finally came, there were enough people to start a new country. Yes we all had to fit on the train that was already full. We separated so we could try to a door when the train stopped. Screwed. We ran to a door and ended up being up to the front...which since Italians are pushy and rude..we were of course the last ones on. The whole time this guy behind me kept screaming Avante and the people on the train who refused to move to open space so we could all fit. He was obnoxious. Lucky for us, he got on a different car. So we stood smooshed and standing in the doorway with about 20 other people by the toilet. Gross, hot, and extremely smelly. I was smooshed against GB's back and after 20 min. I felt like I was about to pass out. Then the obnoxious guy comes back and forces him self in between everyone and stands up in my area. Yes, no problem, I had plenty of space you jerk. GB told me to try to sit so I didn't pass out. Mr. obnoxious says to me, oh come back here. I said oh no thank you Im okay, thinking he was being kind. WRONG! He said, well I am trying to move over there and pushes me behind him. THEN he has the nerve to squeeze through kids and parents and pull down a side chair and SIT! Unbelievable. After about a half an hour of standing and the train NOT leaving a worker informs us there is another train in 20 min. We decided to bounce off this one and take it. That one was full too but we were able to sit on some steps and snag some seats a few stops later. UGHH it was a nightmare. I almost punched that terd bucket out. How rude, he wasn't even frail or anything. To be honest, he looked like he could skip a meal or too. Oh well...the beach was nice.
We are now getting ready to welcome Taylor and his friends for a few days before My parents get here. Ready to Rock and Roll baby
