Christmas at the Biltmore
We decided to take a weekend trip to Asheville NC to visit America's largest home. It also happens to be the perfect spot to get in the mood for Christmas. I loved everything about this quaint little mountain town. And of course, it wouldn't be fun without our faithful travel companions. Unfortunately for the boys, this place was jam packed full of shopping, and good shopping too! It looked like Christmas in the back of car after the first day.
Here are some pics from the historical area. I really loved this part, it reminded me of an old German town.

MMmmm this charming store got me into a bit of trouble ;)

We had brunch here...oh and so did the president when he was here recently

Okay so here is the Biltmore, this massive beast is built on over 4,000 acres of land. yesh, I know. Did you also know that this was the house from Richie Rich???? yup. Crazy extravagant, its a little ridiculous what some people choose to spend their monies on but whatever.

It had spectacular views!

As good as this monstrosity looked in the day, it looked even sicker at night

The next day we hit up an awesome National Gingerbread competition, seriously, it blew.my.mind. It was held at the most gorgeous mountain resort I have ever seen. I think I may start saving up for next Christmas to stay there.

Penguin Face!

This is why we go on trips with them...Love them!

HotLanta
Sorry these recent posts are a little...well, bland. Yea bland. I just am still fighting this sickness and too be honest, its all I can do to type, so forget trying to add personality or a little snazz into them...and for SURE forget about worrying about such things as grammar and run-on sentences. Anyway, sorry...back to my post
After Thanksgiving we met up with our travel buddies in Atlanta so show them around.
We hit up the Coca-Cola factory, where we were able to hit up almost EVERY coke product around the world, then visited the Martin Luther King area (house, church were he preached, and resting place). I was Still sick so I missed out on going to the Barn (local barn that places bluegrass). It was a super fun day even though I was drained and I was glad to show our pals around.

Thanks for visiting with us Tonna and Adam, hope you loved Hotlanta as much as we do

Thanksgiving
There are three things that you need to know about our thanksgiving this year...
1: Yummy Food
2: Abundance of Laughter
3: An Adorable proposal
We spent this Thanksgiving with my mumsi in Tennessee. I honestly don't remember most of it because I was ill. I mean I wanted to lie in bed and die ill. It sucked. LUCKILY, my best day was on Thanksgiving. I was grateful I actually got to enjoy my family and help out in the kitchen. My aunt Shelia was a rockstar and made pretty much almost ALL the food, my mumsi and I helped out with the treaties. Can I just say that my family is awesome. I mean really, they are so special to me. I really am blessed to have them all in my life. Here are a few of my favorites
Okay, Caden...my little man. This cutie pie slept with me and when I woke up he was standing above me with the most adorable smile..."Oh Meagan, I have a surprise for you, close your eyes and hold out your hand"...it was a ring...he stole it from his moms jewelry box so we could get married. Oh but don't worry about Garrett, Caden swapped him Jack (his weiner dog), for me :) He then proceeded to dance with me. LOVE him! He is so full of personality, honestly more than any other child I have ever seen and I can't get enough of him.

My little Mishonmerry, he is leaving soon

Me and Mumsi

and last but not least, my little fiance sleeping on my lap...

Thanksgiving made me oh so grateful for all the many glorious blessings I have in my life, most important of which, are the people in it
